Fine Motor Skills Play, for Age 3+

PlayClay Mats are a great way for children to exercise their fine motor skills alongside having a blast. Different finger muscles get used as the clay or play-doh gets kneaded, pinched, pressed and rolled. The double sided laminated PlayClay Mats are to be used with clay or play-doh (not included).

PlayClay Mats have numbers 1-10 on one side and creative prompts on the other side. The number side reinforces counting, number recognition and number tracing. Roll balls of clay or play-doh, count them out and place them on the dots in the graphic as well as the number grid. Roll a long snake and place it on the number for number tracing and formation. The creative prompts side encourages open-ended play with imagination and creativity. Eg. Make the person into a fairy, a pirate or a boy enjoying the beach! Decorate your birthday cake with strawberries and candy! Go wherever your imagination takes you.

Clean-up is super easy since the mats are laminated. Simply put away the clay or play-doh and wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Number Mats

Number mats enable number tracing, number counting and number grid.

Roll the 6 balls and put them on the round dots. Roll 6 more balls to put them on the number grid. Roll a long snake and trace the number 6.
