Telling stories is an important activity in childhood. Story telling enables and fires up the imagination and creativity of the developing mind. It develops oral expression and fluency in spoken language. It creates a good conducive environment to try out new vocabulary. Story elements have to be logically connected, which boosts logical thinking. Story Time is a fun travel game which assists with all this!

Story Time requires no setup except a shuffle. Shuffle the cards and put them face down in the center. Draw a card and start creating a story using the character, object, scene or good manners. Draw another card and continue the story. Conclude the story when "The End" card is drawn.

Story Time is sized like a double deck of playing cards and so easy to carry around. It's great for indoors or outdoors or even when on the road!

Card Types

Character Cards - There are a wide range of characters like a princess, an alien, a lion, and so on. The variety of characters makes the story more interesting.

Object Cards - Object cards contain objects from everyday life. These have to be incorporated using different characters and scenes and makes a fun mental exercise.

Scene Cards - Changes in scene settings can cause very funny twists to the story. Try transporting an alien and princess from the castle to the beach!

Good Manners Cards - Good manners are reinforced by making them a part of the story.
